Select one or more rows, then Confirm (mark reviewed) or Snooze (review what you're about to hide, then hide it until a date -- e.g. "I know this card's high, I'm not paying it down until next month"). Critical alerts still break back through early if they get worse. To record a payment, use the Pay Bills tab.
Alerts currently hidden from Needs Attention. Un-snooze one to make it reappear immediately.
Optional reconciliation anchor: a balance you've independently confirmed correct as of a given date (e.g. from a real statement). Once set, the Ledger sums every transaction forward from it across the account's full history and flags any drift from the Available balance above -- leave blank to skip this.
Log a full paycheck -- gross pay, itemized deductions, and the resulting net-pay deposit -- as one entry. Entirely optional: for a simple lump deposit, use the Record Transaction tab instead.
Month-over-month balance trajectory by funding source -- a different question from Budget's "where did the money go": is your overall position improving, and are you leaning on credit more or less over time.
Click a row to view its transactions in the Ledger.
Runs the credit-score prediction model (R/model.R) against your current tracked accounts and scores.
Add one line per hypothetical change -- they're all scored together as one combined what-if, not added up from separate predictions.
Sketch which account funds which upcoming bill, see whether any account would go negative or a card would exceed its limit, then approve a batch to record all of it at once.
If set, the Dashboard greets you by this name -- at most once an hour, not on every page load. Leave it blank and nothing is shown.
This app is single-user -- there's one username and one password, not separate accounts.
Changes apply on the next page load -- no restart needed.
Turning login off removes
demo_runtime/auth_config.R
entirely.
Restoring replaces the live database with the selected backup, and always takes a fresh backup of the current state first -- a bad restore is itself recoverable. The app needs to be restarted afterward; that doesn't happen automatically.
